1-Person Scramble – Rules Overview

In this unique format, each player acts as their own scramble team.

On every hole:

• Hit two tee shots, then choose the better one.

• From that spot, hit two shots again, selecting the better result each time.

• Continue this process until the ball is holed.

• Only one ball is played forward after each pair of shots.

Additional Notes:

• 1 club length relief is allowed within the same condition (fairway to fairway, rough to rough).

• No closer to the hole when placing second ball.

• Scoring is stroke play—lowest total wins.

• All USGA rules apply unless otherwise noted.
